The purpose of this task was to gain an understanding of how many slates will generally be needed when i create my own opening title sequence. This is a form of planning of research, as in industry a title sequence is crucial as it is a legal requirement for the companies and individuals whom were apart of the production of the film to be credited, as it is linked to ownership and copyright legislation's.
Shown above is my timeline of the opening title sequence for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I now have an understanding of why a title sequence has to be present (copyright laws) due to the workers ownership over their work on the film. However, a title sequence has to be able to keep the audiences attention, it must also relate to the film otherwise some confusion amongst the audience will be caused.
However, in order to keep hold of the audiences attention the opening title sequence has to be fairly short due to the audience will inevitably get bored.

    Good effort, well annotated
    To improve:
Use an online photo editor to put into a block of shots like on the art of the title website
    Embedd the trailer from youtube

You clearly understand in depth what needs to be in a title sequence and why. Annotate a bit more and maybe add the video of the title sequence to boost up to a L4.
